Introduction
As the next step in our ongoing commitment to providing our customers with high quality, competitively priced instrumentation, Watson Industries has successfully completed an ISO 9001:2000 and is working towards acheiving AS/EN9100 standard.
Scope
Watson Industries designs, develops and manufactures precision instrumentation products for the Commercial, Aerospace and Defense Industries. The Quality Assurance Program of Watson Industries consists of: (1) the policies of the QA manual, (2) referenced procedures, (3) supporting work instructions and (4) flexibility for improvement. This quality system provides the base from which our products will consistently meet or exceed customer expectations and industry requirements in an efficient, effective and controlled manner. The purpose of the QA manual, and associated quality procedures, is to provide the direction and authority for a Quality Assurance Program. The QA program is to be implemented, understood and maintained at all levels of the company to ensure compliance with customer contractual requirements, appropriate government regulations and recognized aerospace quality standards.
Policy
Watson Industries is committed to providing our customers with high quality products and services that meet or exceed their expectations for performance, delivery and price. Our customer's needs and requirements are constantly changing, which requires continuous improvement of the organization. Strategic objectives for product and process performance, for on-time responsiveness, for cost effectiveness and for the level of customer satisfaction shall be established, measured, and analyzed in order to identify on-going opportunities for improvement. Each individual employee has a responsibility for quality. All personnel are encouraged to initiate action to reduce defects and prevent the occurrence of a nonconformance relating to product, service or process. It is management's responsibility to communicate these values, and to provide the structure, resources, and direction necessary to achieve the organization's purpose.
